          Early Life and Education

          Voislav Gecic was born in Serbia and began his musical journey at the Novi Sad University Academy of Music.

          He studied under Ekuthon Kaderova-Mihaylovic, a Uzbekian pianist who was a disciple of Lev Brumberg at the Moscow Conservatory. Gecic graduated in 1982.

          Teaching Career

          Immediately after graduating, Gecic joined the Novi Sad University Academy of Music as a piano instructor.
